The antibacterial effectiveness test demonstrates the reliable broad-spectrum antibacterial capability of our silver ion wound dressing. It triggers fast antibacterial action in 5 to 10 minutes after application. The sustained inhibitory effect remains consistent over 125 hours, covering major wound-related bacteria and fungi such as SAU, ECO, PAE, SEP, EFM, BSU, CAL and KPN. By continuously controlling bacterial load, the dressing lowers infection risk and creates a favourable environment for wound recovery.
BENEFITS
- Waterproof and bacterial barrier-can shower with the dressing on the skin.
- High absorbency – Prevents excess fluid causing maceration to healthy skin and can reduce the number of dressing changes.
- Perforated wound contact layer with a gentle silicone adhesive perforated film – protects the wound bed from adhering to the dressing.
- Supports non traumatic removal – assists with minimising trauma at dressing change.
- Effective antimicrobial- kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria and prevents colonisation and proliferation of bacteria.
- Manages wound exudate and microbial contamination – which reduces wound pain during wound healing.
